What materials do you use?

Materials for each piece are noted on the items listing. Most of our pieces are made with 18kt gold PVD plated stainless steel. This is a waterproof, tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic metal designed for everyday wear. Some pieces include freshwater pearls, faux pearls, CZ stones or natural shell.

Is your jewellery waterproof?

Our PVD gold plated stainless steel jewellery is water friendly and won’t tarnish or fade easily like standard plated pieces. That said, for longevity it is important to care properly for your jewellery and we always recommend removing before swimming in chlorine, using strong perfumes or doing deep cleaning.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we don't yet offer international shipping, but we are in the process of making this happen as soon as possible.

Do you offer returns?

We accept returns on damaged, faulty or incorrect items within 14 days of delivery. More details on returns here. Email us with your order number, photos and reason for return. Please note we are unable to accept returns due to a change of mind, or on sale items. 

How should I care for my jewellery?

  • Avoid harsh chemicals

Overview

This website and services are operated by The Charm Collective Australia. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Charm Collective Australia. By accessing or purchasing from this site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all site users, including without limitation browsers, customers, merchants and contributors of content.

Products & Availability

  • All jewellery is described and photographed as accurately as possible, but variations may occur due to difference across devices, any natural materials used, and the handmade nature of our pieces.
  • We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product, discontinue products at any time, or refuse service at our sole discretion.

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
  • Payment must be received in full before an order is processed.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are processed within 7 days after payment is received, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  • Shipping times provided at checkout are estimates only and may vary depending on postal or courier services. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, including but not limited to postal/courier delays, weather events, or customs processing.
  • All orders include tracking. Once tracking shows “delivered” to the address provided by the customer, the order is deemed fulfilled. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
  • For international orders customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees charged by the destination country. Delays caused by customs are outside our control.
  • To ensure accuracy and quality control, we photograph every order prior to dispatch. These photographs are timestamped and retained as proof of condition, packaging, and order contents at the time of shipping.

Returns, Exchanges & Warranty

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
  • Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty.

Warranty Coverage

  • Our jewellery is covered by a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults only.
  • Manufacturing faults include:

    Broken clasps or chains not caused by misuse or accident

    Charms detaching from bracelets or necklaces

    Abnormal tarnishing or discolouration inconsistent with normal wear
  • This warranty does not cover:

    Normal wear and tear.

    Accidental damage, loss, or theft

    Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions

    Scratches, dents, or discolouration from regular use
  • Customers must provide proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.
  • Faulty items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.

Care & Liability

  • Our jewellery is designed to be water and tarnish resistant, however proper care is required to maintain longevity. Care instructions are provided on our website.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring they do not have allergies to the metals used. We are not liable for allergic reactions.

Order Documentation

  • For quality control, we photograph every order prior to dispatch. These photographs are timestamped and retained as proof of product condition and order accuracy at the time of shipping.
  • In the event of a dispute regarding product condition or missing items, these photographs will be used as evidence.

Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs, logos, brand names, and website content are the intellectual property of The Charm Collective Australia and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to our products shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
